Construction Details For Contractors And Building Control

Building regulations are administered by the local council for the areas and involve a list of regulations which need to be followed, and intend to protect the health and safety of people in and around the building, as well as including regulations which are aimed at conservation of energy to promote sustainable development.
Building approvals assess whether or not building plans adhere to all of these regulations, and then approve the works or inform you on what aspects you need to change your planning to ensure you meet all relevant guidelines.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found surveyor Nick Sharp most professional and personable. His knowledgeable, speedy responses to calls and emails made for a refreshing experience. I highly recommend him and his team at Simmons Taylor Hall.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nick was a tremendous help with surveying our home and providing a timely report. He also arranged for our Party Wall Award, which was at times quite testing. He was professional and experienced all the way through. We will use him again if we ever needed too.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. In my search for a new home, STH had the dubious “privilege” of providing me with three (!) building surveys on three prospective properties. Thankfully, the third survey passed muster and gave me the assurance to complete on the purchase.

Communication with Trevor, Nick and the team was excellent. They were approachable and knowledgeable, and the sound, professional advice received was greatly appreciated. I would certainly use STH again and have no hesitation in recommending them to you.
