The Importance Of Planned Maintenance Programmes
Planned maintenance programmes are used to identify areas of your building or asset that will need regular maintenance and what kind of problems already exist because of neglect of maintenance which need urgent work. This is important to do because it allows you to factor in maintenance as an ongoing cost when investing in a property or asset when buying or leasing as well as ensuring that you are up to date with your maintenance so that your asset doesn’t deteriorate to the point where major replacements are required.
We visit properties to assess and plan what maintenance will be needed over the following five- to seven-year period.
As with all our work, we intend that our quinquennial inspection will give you high-quality information to organise and manage building refurbishment, repairs and maintenance works. Our reports also advise on the long-term maintenance of buildings, and on setting budgets to allow accurate financial planning.
Efficient planning of building maintenance can prolong the life of your investment, and minimise repair costs.
